NY Stew: First, I must have slipped while watching football and signed Chaz instead of Cha2 which is what is my handle here. He is not responsible for my musings on Gemstar and the future.

Pleased to hear that Gemstar is working with service providers in several technologies.

I know Frank believes in waiting before investing in young potential gorillas, but I have read so many persuasive posts from the two of you and others here that I may take a small stake to watch.

Actually since I try to stay concentrated in telecom equip suppliers, I was hoping you could help me find an excuse to consider Gemstar a telecom (broadly defined) investment so I could jump in now.

Tempted.

Will do some further DD. (Not of Mike's depth of course - but he has already done that on this one).

And anything I do is my own choice, but do appreciate your info.
