When I went to Canada for vacation this summer, at one point I saw a very tall fence made out of black plastic webbing around a vegetable garden. Obviously meant to keep out deer. Could have been Canada, Maine, Massachusetts, or anywhere else north of Virginia, I just don't remember. A similar material is used here on construction sites to stop erosion, only in bright orange, and maybe 4 ft. tall. This stuff was probably 10 ft tall, looked like it would work, and was cheap. Looked like hell, though.
