greg, My guess is most back to school buyers would be streaching to purchase the Athlon for school use Streaking, or stretching? Speaking of streaking, there was a streaker at the Red Sox - A's game this past week. Maybe he was racing for an Athlon himself! Instead, he go his sorry a** thrown in jail. Tony

I thing the back to shcool buyer is more a K-6 2 likly purchaser.> A agree with your analysis but in the end this is a numbers game. Certain % of the folks will buy at the high end (there may not be too many but every bit helps) and I think AMD lost a good opportunity. The upside is current Athlon volumes are pretty low - so not much has been lost by the delay - not yet anyway. AMD needs to ensure a smooth Christmas season - that is their biggest challenge. Chuck
