"What do you expect from these NDA's?"

Claude, it depends on what they really think of the properties. If they accept the premise that there is a mult-billion ton gold/copper porphyry system practically in the suburbs of Santiago-what wouldn't they do to obtain it? :)

There has been water cooler talk of various scenarios for many many months among long term Medinah investors. Best guess...Medinah will end up with a financing deal with a Mutual Fund simply because a Fund will be in the best position to offer Medinah the best deal. The financial community is awash in money these days-the mining industry of course needs to watch their pennies! The Fund probably would finance a large drill program right through final mine design. Also, the Fund will likely take a very large market position in Medinah. (I believe rules allow buying upto 49.9% of all outstanding shares of a particular company.)

I expect any deal be it with a Fund or Major to be very lucurative due to the intense competition among different parties involved.

For all the Funds/Majors not selected with the NDA's with Medinah-what will they do? First, it is my understanding-that when Medinah finally inks a deal-all the NDA's will immediately be dropped allowing for this group to partipate in buying of Medinah stock. The Majors may attempt to accumulate enough shares to launch a tender offer, may attemt to get in bed with the winner, or may just buy a certain percent of shares just because they knew a good investment when they see one! Either way, this will NOT be a simple JV-ie a Major spends $2 million to earn a 50% interest in Lipangue. Note: The possibility of a hostile takeover is not in the cards due to the strucuture of share ownership-ie enough shares in friendly hands to preclude this. Double Note: Majors probably want both MDHM and CDCH. This adds a little complexity to every thing. Probably be a separate deal cut with CDCH-but perhaps a little later-ie after enough data has been collected on that side of the fence-the recent 3 feet of snow there has slow things down a bit!(Snowing outside of Santiago today as well-warmer weather is on the way for the rest of the week however.) Cheers.
