easy regis... you're going to get that kind of response from 99% of the "investors" you ask about MRV... why? because they haven't taken the time to look at the true value of the company and are doing nothing but regurgitating info from other information sources which are WAY behind in the learning curve. it's only their "perception" because that's the limited info they've read about this company.... let's take this information and seriously dissect it... what i see is that MRV has done a poor job in marketing (no new news here) not only to their prospective companies, but also to the financial community. sharing info in a timely, concise manner is hardly MRV's nature. we are just now beginning to see a company willing to enhance shareholder value by sharing with others what they do well. this should be much easier to accomplish once they spinoff (or whatever in the heck they end up doing) OA.

besides, that would have been my initial reaction until i really did some research.

Regis et. al.
While reading the Gilder Technology Report message boards, which are not nearly as user friendly as SI, I found some enthusiasm for a report by Vinod Khosla titled Bandwidth--The Terabit Tsunami. I found the report but it is in power point format and comes up as gibberish when I click on their link. If any of you tech savvy guys can decipher this it might be of interest. Khosla is the Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers partner who negotiated the purchase of Cerent by Cisco. Here is the link to KPB&C's site where the link to the slides is posted.

I don't think this presentation has been posted on this thread. It might be interesting.
