Kris, it should have a +ve impact on SYD.vse, especially more liquidity. Easily the subsidiary, being in the US mkt, will get a better val'n than in Canada, imo.

Look to RIMM/RIM.tse as an eg. ; CORL

You could look at the mkt caps of both co's and add the mkt cap % ownership by the Cdn of the US co, to the Cdn co's mkt cap (at an appropriate exchange rate). Crude measure of where val'n ought to lie, but if it's hot, it can run in excess of that mtd.
