You may not want to wait too long. I just checked Pricewatch and the PIII-600 and 550 fell by at least $10 a piece over the weekend. As you know Intel is reducing costs aggressively and passing them onto the customers.

And the rate at which they are cutting costs, by mid-october PIII-550 prices should be down substantially - in the $200+ region (if that).
