It's been proven that even in some Neanderthal societies, the lame and the sick were nursed along. Elephant packs help sick elephants by feeding them. I'm less worried about the ill or incompetent breeding (we have sufficient abundance to deal with them), than by the evil and intelligent breeding. And those types will always breed like rabbits, producing more generations of evil, intelligent people. Isn't that the bigger threat? But if what you say is right, mankind may be headed for trouble in a million years.
