Good thread, Dettmer. Until I hear more, I am, however, a bit skeptical. This is because it would appear that MSFT is developing a system for PC games.

I am one of those who believe that PC gaming will remain a minority piece of the market since it does not recognize that video gaming is a very sociable thing - a sport where you get your friends along and play it together, rather than sitting alone in front of a PC. Good for chess perhaps but not for video games - or even poker or bridge - unless you have run out of flesh and blood players. Ever tried having a beer with a PC?
