I find it a pain to do the < bla bla bla i/> thing for italic probably because I am an old guy and can't seem to learn anything new so I find myself writing..... regarding "bla bla bla" and also I am a mac guy and hate typing stuff so just an idea why can't you make a pulldown for italic or bold and then you just highlight and do the pulldown....you know thats the way its done most often right?

August:

1. No, non-members cannot access the Old SI. talk.techstocks.com is the only URL that accesses the Old Site, and you need to be a registered member to visit that URL. However, with respect to comparison charts...they exist in the new SI, and you can access them in two ways: A) Via the Portfolio Tracker - Look at the Portfolio Detail page and click Comparative Analysis; or B) Via Quotes - Enter multiple symbols into the Quotes input box (separated by spaces). You'll get a list of multiple quotes with a Comparative Charts link on the page.

2. If you're not logged in at the New SI site, then we assume you're not a member and we leave ad banners turned on. If you want banners turned off, then you must me logged in, and you must have set the Customization Option to turn advertising off. However, this should all be moot once we've completed the Classic SI Format Customization Option, as you'll be using the New SI (with the Classic wrapper, no doubt) at that time.

By the way, the update on that feature is that the initial specs are done, and we're waiting for Brad to come back from vacation. (Yes, we let him out of the office once in a while.) :)

Thanks,

Bryan
