Headline....... Savin Rock, CT(Reuters)Monday September 13: Police detained thousands of investment activists Monday, including the notorious c.horn, preventing an anti-SEC rally and sparking an opposition call for a general strike against world markets.. The combined opposition has appealed for a strike against the arrest of opposition leader c.horn. The strike call was backed by all opposition groups in a newly-formed alliance against the SEC.. It was the latest in a wave of opposition-engineered strikes and rallies but the SEC says the protests are minor and pose no threat to their world domination.. Witnesses said hundreds of police used tear gas and baton charges to block access to the site of the rally that would coincide with the arrest of c.horn.. ''The SEC is now acting as a military dictatorship." said c.horn from an undisclosed location''Never in my days have I seen such measures taken and never has the peaceful opposition been stopped from non-violent protest in this manner,'' he said. c.horn said 6,000 opposition activists were detained in Southern CT, mostly in Savin Rock. Police were also accused of raiding the headquarters of c.horn, located on the beach in CT... He managed to get word of his impending arrest Sunday night from operatives working in collusion with the opposition leaders on the Website Siliconinvestor.com.. The opposition leaders, along with other parties, planned the rally to protest against what it calls ''political victimization'' by the SEC. The rally was to follow a partially successful general strike in CT Monday and a September 14th countrywide strike by traders, which was backed by several opposition groups. The SEC released the nutcase c.horn on his own recognizance amidst the call for more strikes, rallies and protests..
