Integrion Passes One Million Mark
The Integrion Financial Network brought its one millionth customer onto its IFS Web-banking system this week, a spokesperson told Electronic Banker. This brings the collective customer base of the six banks on Integrion?s system, IFS, on par with Wells Fargo & Co. , which last month made history by becoming the first bank with one million customers on the Web.
In addition to IFS, which was developed by the Integrion bank consortium and IBM Corp., Integrion uses a system acquired as part of its mid-1997 acquisition of Visa Interactive. About 400,000 consumers use the old Visa system. It?s mostly for bill payment, but a small portion also do Web banking through interfaces to Web and PC applications.
Half of Integrion?s million end-users are customers of Banc One. Corp. The next most sizable user, among the six banks using IFS, is Bank of America, the Integrion spokesperson said.
BofA?s old Nationscorp. side began using IFS in March 1997, well before the two banks merged. Integrion is now rolling IFS out to the BofA side, as an element of its Web-banking technology.
BofA, reports itself having the most online customers--both Web and PC users--of any bank in the nation. BofA told Electronic Banker it has 1.5 million online customers, growing by 80,000 a month.
The other four IFS users are PNC Bank. Corp., Washington Mutual Inc., ABN AMRO North America Inc., and Michigan National Corp.

Contact with two hedge traders today who have identified CKFR based on its recent piercing of the 50 DMA. Credit for this contact should be given to Scott -- you called it.

One looks for the stock to pierce and hold $41 where it will become an aggressive buyer. The other is in the market as we post.

That's all I have for now but have been watching the trading of Cantor Fitzgerald -- they have held a bit of a lid above $40 but I anticipate that will go away if volume comes in.
