Thanks, Blue & Jed...

Somehow, the "Silver Sky" seems a bit ominous in light of the current situation. Hope Levy et als. weathers the storm in good form.... Hurricanes and Italy seem very surreal.

Floyd sounds like a bit of a "redneck"...no offense, Jed...

BLUE says SELL AOL or see you at $60
I make no secret of the fact that I think steve lower case and AOL both suck. steve sucks because he is a person who ran a look good to profit from the deaths of our children at Littleton. He NEVER answered any e-mail about his low life behavior.
AOL sucks because they are doing really bad business. Long ago I saw the fall of AOL coming and sold my AOL shares in the 160s. Now I wouldn't own the company because I think with a little time you can buy it in the 60s.
I know the corporate world and how a corporation can kill itself. AOL is on the way to doing that and unless something changes at AOL and quick, this company (and your money if you own the stock) are going right down the crapper.
I don't care how big AOL is, things change. GNET or any company that is positioned for the cable/internet/broadband morph that is to come can really hurt AOL by just offering FREE internet access now and cutting a deal later when the morph goes down.
FACTS about AOL's bad business:
1) They have no real system to handle customer complaints.
2) They have no real system to improved customer satisfaction.
3) They have you pay for "unlimited use" and then boot you off every few minutes. This I believe is because AOL can not handle the people they have signed up. Trouble will happen if you can't handle the load.
4) This morning I was booted off line and told by an AOL icon that someone was logged on to my account. When I called AOL's number given 800-827-6364 I got a menu run around and then a recording saying they can't even take the call and to call 1-888-265-8006 later. That is no way to do business, in fact that is not business.
5) As soon as ERTH or MSPG get even close to AOL, I'm gone, I only use AOL to know what Sheepeople are being fed. I could get by without the info.
6) GNET/Allen (or anyone else positioned) could screw AOL big time by paying for the eye balls up front NOW with FREE truly "unlimited" use.
7) AOL is rated an AVOID.
