Canada you say !!!

try the canadian general investment fund and united corps...both have discounts

but, i figure if mgmt fees are 1 %, the co should trade at a 20 % discount...why ? because i have to put away $ 20 to earn $ 1 in interest to pay the $ 1 for every $ 100 managed...i think this is fair, unless you are paying for expertise...this is something i cannot evaluate in buying a fund..i only have the track record to go by and don't know any one in (say) Pakistan to evaluate what is in the fund !

comments ?

MB,

Are you still holding IAF and/or CH?

Canada, Australia and Chile seem to have similar economies.

Mike,

Bob Baffert's 2 year old colt named Forest Camp won the major stake against some pretty tough colts closing day at Del Mar. He was somewhere between awesome and incredible. This sets up a super strong Breeders Cup Juvenile matching him and More Than Ready. I hope they both stay healthy and want to stretch out. This is the best crop of 2 year olds I've seen in a long long time.

Wayne
