Ptask:
Interesting point that you have brought up. A few friends and I were discussing this a few weeks back.
Anglo American-subsidary of Implatt's, have a proven method of refining ore (eg. nickel and copper), cheaper than say Falconbridge. I believe that they are breaking into Canada and other countries, is some what politically motivated, pressures from government. I believe we will be seeing more releases announcing letter of intents, leading to JV's.

G

Mustang Minerals Corp. River Valley PGE Property Update

TORONTO, ONTARIO--Documentation regarding the joint venture
agreement with Impala Platinum Holdings Limited (Implats") is
currently being finalized. ( For reference to this agreement
please see Mustang Press Release ( Mustang - Impala to Joint
Venture) dated August 9th 1999 and Implats News Release (EXCITING
GROWTH PROSPECTS FOR IMPLATS dated August 31, 1999 at
www.implats.co.za ). Under interim arrangements with Implats
fieldwork at River Valley initially consisting of gridding and
ground magnetics has commenced.

EAST BULL LAKE PGE PROPERTY UPDATE

Mustang is pleased to announce that a new phase of exploration is
underway at its 100 percent owned East Bull Lake PGE Property
located 80 km west of Sudbury Ontario. The program will be
financed by the recent private placement announced on September 9.
The objectives of this phase of exploration will be to continue to
test the lateral continuity and grade of mineralization occurring
in the anorthosite layer along the southern margin of the
intrusion.

Additional linecutting, detailed sampling and geophysics including
induced polarization are anticipated to be completed by mid
October at which time drilling along the southern margin will
resume. The company plans to complete a minimum of 1,000 meters
of drilling in this phase.

Previous drilling by Mustang intersected platinum (pt), palladium
(pd) and gold (au) mineralization in the anorthosite layer over
300 meters of strike length along the southern margin in the
vicinity of Moon Lake. The anorthosite layer occurs at the contact
of the intrusion and the surrounding rock and outcrops
intermittently for approximately 20 km along the southern margin.
A map outlining the mineralized target zone at East Bull Lake is
posted on the Mustang website at www.mustang-gold.com.

I have been patiently waiting to be able to update on the activity in the Sudbury area, and finally have the news, that I and others have been waiting for.
This comes from us local gurus that we have been able to put it together, and in my judgement is verified. Pfn's management has been closed lip, and I respect that, but, a project of this size and in our area becomes our interest.
We were able to find out that Pfn has been on the property, locating drill targets.
Further digging, has brought these conclusions.
The first drill in the River Valley (Dana township) will be mobilized to the site on Sunday, the second will follow (Kelly township).
It has come to my attention that Mr. Lorne Luhta, will be on site to see the drill programs through. To all that are not familiar with this name, Mr. Luhta was the resident geologist of the area up here, and is considered a highly respected individual in his field. He knows the area like the back of his hand, and to all are interested, he was the original claim holder of this area.
Pfn will do a road and pony show next week, first stopping in Timmins on Wednesday evening, then the next evening in Sudbury (March 1st & 2nd) and then to the PDAC, which I now understand will also do a show.
It has also been verified that this is Pfn's drilling project solely and not Amplatt's.
They are ready to prove this project, and the drilling will be aggressive and continuous. And also keeping in mind, they have a hell of an experienced team in the field. I will update as the project progresses. Good luck to all.

G
