Perhaps, it is easier said than done. My 3 and half year old daughter is right here beside me saying she wants to see Pipi Langstrumpf - a Swedish character- on my screen.
The kindergarten got a computer today. So she was showing off her mouse skills there and want to show me as well.

I remember my mother saying -when I was small boy- that too much Superman and other marvel comics were bad. I read a lot of them and know what? I am an avid reader -a real library mouse- I think is because I read all those comics and got used to keep my nose on printed pages.

As an incorrigible optimist -perhaps naive too- I think one of those kids play Nintendo or Sega will get the right stuff and find ways to hook some kiond of biottech machine over the network, analisys sample of blood, crunch statistics and help stop river blindness and Africa. If they are like me they are thinking this kind of things that no one told them it is impossible. Perhaps they will realize the next next generation network I keep writing about.
