Kap,

<The old BX motherboard lays down the law here, virtually beating the i820 senseless. At each level, the FPS difference is immense. What in the name of all that is good and holy happened?>

This sounds too bad to be true. So far the news forRDRAM has not been too good but until the official release it will be tough to know what is true and what is not.

Chuck

Kap, <Camino i820 chipset review:>
It certainly must be a preproduction board :)
We all should know this from our "performance
guru" Elmer. :) :) :)
I am certain that Elmer knows that Cuontime
will have Magic Buffers for write combining
so it will reschedule all reads and writes to
fit into RAMBUS page scheduler and the system
will fly.

Like a pig?

Take care,
- Al
