Today I have noticed that my gonads are not made of steel and I have been separated from "the men". <g>

I will be re-establishing a steel-balled, man sized 25% stake in Q within the week. That is where I should have been all along, then i could have absorbed this little hit today. I believe in the fundamentals but could not afford a huge drop.

For the record, I have held through the big drops in CSCO, MSFT, NTAP and INTC through the last 5 years or more and never sold, but then my portfolio was of much less value and none of these stocks ever represented over 25% of my total worth.

I sold big pieces of these stocks to buy more QCOM a few weeks ago.

I forgot the lessons I once seemed to know:
1) diversify, even if in one sector
2) don't sell a winner unless the fundamentals have changed.

I, for one, very much appreciate LB's openness and FranQ's cool head. LB leaves himself open to much criticism, but makes bold moves and let's us know promptly. Anyone who says that LB does not have gonads of iron must remember what we thought when he was 100% Q!

>Lindy, I admire you. The worst thing to do is "Nothing"! :) eom.

And sometimes the best thing to do is 'nothing'.

Nevertheless, if the street is acting 'in the know' - we will all know soon enough.
