Nihil,
I do attend a UU church. Unitarians are unaffiliated with Judeo-Christian churches. Unitarian Universalism is a creedless belief system. It is left entirely up to the individual to determine their own spiritual path.

The reason that I attend the Church is that they have an excellent education program for children(IMO) My kids are introduced to all major religious thought(granted it is in a superficial manner) They are taught to respect all thought process including humanism and atheism, and to treat people as individuals. They are encouraged to get involved in their community through things like food bank(of which I am co-chairmen) and other social services. IMO, it helps them to develop an open mind and tolerance for others.

You can certainly call that an organized religion if you wish, as we do meet in a church. However, My opinion is that any diverse group of people that have individual belief systems that range from Atheism to traditional Judeo-Christian is anything but organized.
