Woah! Don't lump me into that group. I still refute this monkey business. I only concede that there is evolution WITHIN a species. But hey, give up. They never will. There's just no irrefutable proof for either side.

but the bible doesn't say how long a day was until god separated day and night (day 3 if i remember correctly) and it still doesn't state the length of that day. so what if day 1 was was 10^n million years. day 2 the same. without a time basis how can you say this god created the universe in 6 24 hour days.

This is no different from saying it was created, in total, a hundred years ago, or yesterday, or just now! It strips all meaning from existance. It's also a much more complex operation than if the universe is what it appears to be.
