beats me why datek, with its close ties to island, can't let us trade along with the rest of the world

hell, for all i know maybe it's easier for datek to turn a few more $s scalping their clients during the opening bell and for the several minutes thereafter rather than allowing us to trade in a less congested preopen session ?

of course i'm paranoid as well so all i say should be taken with much scepticism
