I think TA is not very useful as a predictive tool and I've written a bunch of articles here if you have the time or inclination. In the end, the most important things are support and resistance. I use the 20-period EMA but don't use them for signals. Many times, I am asked why I use the 20EMA as if the price is suppose to retrace exactly to the golden MA, go ding and alert us to action. Most traders use 18 - 30 and it doesn't really matter if one can read bars and volume, particularly using the Dunnigan Bar Count Method that I modified for trading. intelligentspeculator.com intelligentspeculator.com intelligentspeculator.com
