SRCM and TVGIA call off their mutual lawsuits:

biz.yahoo.com

Since MW has been MIA since SRCM sank into single digits, I'll just do both spins on this and be done with it.

Bull spin: As Palley said, a win for SRCM. The patents are upheld and all is well. Next time TVGIA will think twice before messing with the likes of SRCM. Look for a big pop tomorrow.

Bear spin: TV Guide probably figured out that SRCM will probably go under before they see any of that $3 million even if they prevail. Meanwhile, there was no telling what massive figure a company in as great a need of cash as SRCM might ask for. Better to take a small loss of face over that $150 million gain they were bragging about a few months back, rather than risk a major monetary loss over the debacle. Next time TVGIA will think twice before dealing with the likes of SRCM. Look for a good shorting opportunity tomorrow.

And what is Fallguy, I mean, Palley, babbling about the viability of SRCM's patents? What the heck did that have to do with the lawsuits?
