Paul, Although SLR is down in after hours trading, I thought it meaningful that this statement was made.
"Meanwhile, Solectron, based in Milpitas, Calif., said it expects the deal to add 9 cents to earnings in fiscal 2000, before transaction charges."

We'll see how the real market views it tomorrow.

Regards

Paul, i think the losers are the ECM who are late to the
memory stuff, Celestica already is working with Sandisk in
China for CF (CompactFlash?), and the Rambus ramp will be
huge.JMO

SanDisk is experiencing rapid growth mainly because of
the increasing popularity of consumer electronics products
such as digital cameras, MP3 internet music players, handheld computers, smart phones and audio recorders ? all
products that use SanDisk memory cards to store either
digital images, digital audio or data. SanDisk shipped
almost two million flash products in 1998, including nearly
1.3 million CompactFlash? (CF?) cards.
