Re: MIAthlon?

Elmer,

You can walk into a Best Buy or Circuit City and walk out with an Athlon system. You can go to any of these sites and order a system with an Athlon CPU.

Tiger Direct tigerdirect.com
Aberdeen aberdeeninc.com
Cybermax cybermaxpc.com
Compaq compaq.com
IBM ibm.com
MCS http://www.????.com
Hardyville Express hardyville.com
Midwest Micro cs.mwmicro.com

Why then is it that you persist in calling the Athlon the MIAthlon?
Saying it over and over again will not make it so.

Elmer,

Re: Dell benchmarks

You have POINTEDLY FAILED to comment on the ACTUAL FACTS posted by technical folks.

1. Tom a few months ago.
2. Dells at IDF.
3. Apexs today - run with PIII 533/133/DRDRAM-800.
4. And now some comments from Anandtech today:

snip"

RDRAM - 800MHz of crap?

I'm sure you've read all about the benchmarks on RDRAM and how the i820 (Camino) is inferior in every single way to the BX chipset and the usual rants and raves. I'm here to tell you that not all of these benchmarks are unfounded, in fact, there is quite a bit of truth to the current performance of RDRAM on the 820. "snip

Elmer you have a serious credibility problem on this thread, and you keep making it worse old boy. Only youseless with his phantom shorts has less credibility right now- but u keep fudding along.......right with him.

Regards,

Kash

It must be StockMan.
