I am with you on that statement.
I heard Dan Quayle on the radio today, stating that if we combined the 16 agencies in the US government, down to 8, the US could save Billions of dollars and have a more effeceint operation.
The war on drugs is under the drug Czar, however it is paid for by the taxpayers through the pentagons defense spending plan.
At this time "We" the taxpayers are sending Billions of dollars to foreign countries to solve "our" drug problem.
By combining the efforts of the Army core of engineers, the border patrol and CIA, we could shut down the southern borders, (the area of least resistance) and stop the flow of illegal drugs. (for a lot less than 10 billion dollars.)
