Amazing timing! Flex to offer over 14 million shares! I don't understand why they would want to offer so many shares. They'll have about a billion dollars if this offering goes off near the current price. The only thing I can think of is that they want to buy someone who won't take their stock, so they effectively want the public to buy them the company. What do you think? best wishes, sam

Flextronics files to offer 14.4 mln shares

WASHINGTON, Sept 15 (Reuters) - Electronics manufacturer Flextronics
International Ltd. filed Wednesday to sell, from time to time, up to 14.4
million common shares and may use the net proceeds for working capital
and debt repayment.

It may also use the proceeds to fund capital expenditures and finance
acquisitions, the Singapore-based company said in a shelf registration filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange
Commission.

Flextronics shares were down 2-3/8 to 65-1/4 on Nasdaq.
