Hey isn't that protective double-speak like "if the market doesn't go up, then it will go down."

Today, I was thinking about the rantings of big bad Bill Fleck.

With the advance/declince line being terrible with many stocks down since April 1998, why would the Fleck man care about the handful of stocks and the 1 or 2 sectors holding up the indexes?? As a short player why isn't he picking on the weak and meek stocks? The analogy is that ya got this small non-muscular school boy picking fights with the linebackers on the school football team. IMHO, not the best of strategies.
