A Case Study

Years ago I came across a gadget in a small newspaper.
I didn't understand it, but had a good feeling about it.
I sought advice about it and was told the company was almost out of buisness. It was trading at 75 cents.
Truely the company was in distress. They were paying the
employees in shares. Shorters had pushed the stock down.

People very close to the company "knew" some things and
started to buy every share they could get their hands on.
They told other people about it, but disbelievers pointed at the past financials and chart technicals.

The shares slowly began to go up. Then one day it happenend.
The stock rose to $18, the next day $22, the next day $28
then $60. Then it had a 3 for one split back to 20, then ran to $60 three days later, then it had another split and rose again and again. All within days.

The little contraption that I didn't quite understand was called a Zip Drive. The Janitor became a multi multi millionaire. The naysayers who relied on past financials
and charts missed out from not listening to people close to the company.

I have been buying more and more GUMM.

Regards,
S.W.
