Oh they can decide all right - but they're doing it all wrong, and it is our duty to persist in telling them the right way until they cave.

Yes Dennis, as long as all us benign atheists, force you to pay for our humanistic God free schools, and accept our curriculum of sex education, condom distribution and homosexual enlightened textbooks.

Why do you think liberals are so against the voucher program? Afraid all those christians will leave the Godless government schools and miss out on a decent secularist upbringing? Can't have freedom of choice now can we? Can't allow parents to decide which school is best for their kids can we?

The problem is that some people have imposed a false idea on us that religion is at one end of the spectrum while a bland kind of neutrality is at the other. They assured us that they were not opposed to religion, they just wanted to protect those who professed different religions. They comforted us that they just wanted to remove the practice of any specific religion from public life.

Nowhere is this false notion more clear than in the creation-evolution debate. Ahhh, but we hear the cry from the left! "evolution is an undisputable fact!". "We can't ignore science". While professors such as Phillip Johnson from the University of California at Berkely drive huge six inch nails into the coffin of Darwinian evolution. How many students are exposed to the books by Michael Behe entitled "Darwins Black Box" or Philip Johnson's "Darwin on Trial"?
