Only used it for 5 minutes since I have not signed up for service yet(I think they charge roaming rates at this point). So, limited experience. I hit minibrowser, it downloaded some RSA security features(took a few minutes), then connected. When connected, there is a menu. Went to Yahoo, then Finance, then Quotes. Cued up QCOM, got the closing price, hit NEWS, saw the scrolling headlines, chose a story, read it, logged off. Did the same thing with another stock later. Second time was instant connection. Surprisingly quick at what it does.

Realize that at 14.4, Sprint now exceeds GSM data speeds. Japan will crush GSM data speeds in the next few months. CDMA is leapfrogging GSM. Read the releases about the new 38K GSM speeds carefully. CDMA's data superiority is just being hatched. Just wait till it grows up!
