i think investors needed some sort of assurance that PTEK actually had products it is selling. this gave it to 'em. the impressive part, if i recall correctly, is this email product is being used in 40% of S&P500 companies... when you think about it, that's pretty darn good penetration and may be an attractive component to other communication companies.
