Fellow investors, SVSY has the Peterborough contract! I take the liberty of reposting what I wrote on RB:

I called the Environmental Protection Department at the City of
Peterborough, and it's true! Last night, the city council of
Peterborough accepted the engineers' recommendation to use UV
Systems Ultraguard on the project, based on a 20 year lifecycle cost analysis. Ultraguard was over 3.5 times more energy efficient than the competing bids (i.e. Trojan), and the savings amount to over $1 million in electricity costs over the 20 year period. The system will include 60 lamps, although only 42 will be required for normal flow.

The chain of events will proceed as follows: a letter of intent will be issued to SVSY today. SVSY must then post the bond as required in the tender, which should happen this week. The city will then issue the purchase order either late this week or early next week.

This is by far the biggest order in SVSY history - surely cause for some celebration!

Best regards,
Bryan
