Yup, I read it the same way. With the launch just couple of weeks away, the Apex guy probably got sneaked out systems from OEMs or motherboard makers. As you very well know, this happens all the time in the business but the results tend to be poor because they might miss a BIOS update, drivers or something else that would make the chips underperform.

Apex got probably used his sources to sneak past Intel but I can't believe that Intel let Dell show the underwhelming performance figures at IDF - especially if the goal was to highlight this technology. What seemed to have happened at IDF still amazes me. Network backups! C'mon.
