I agree that Griese was pretty decent for a young 1st time starter. Especially against a top tier defense.

I think Tony M.'s charge was money laundering, however, some of the laundered money revolved around drugs..

Doesn't matter, he's not guilty, yeah? -g-

Tom.....I was very impressed with Miami to say the least. I guess the thing that surprised me most was the running game. Yes, I think having Gogan helps, but the big difference is having Tony Martin and Yatil Green on the outside. Last year teams stacked the line and dared Miami to throw deep knowing very well that Miami didn't have a receiver that would scare anyone.

Here's something else to think of, Cecil Collins hasn't played a down yet!! Wait till he gets in there.

Miami's defense did a great job of shutting down Davis. I don't think any other team in NFL will hold him to under a 3.5 average per carry. Other than the long bomb to McCaffery and the garbage drive at the end, Miami would have held Denver to right around 200 yards total offense, but hey, who's complaining. :-)

As far as Griese, I wouldn't say awesome, but very impressive. You can certainly see why Shanahan likes the kid. Very poised and smart. He will be a very good QB in time.

Next up for Miami is Arizona. Look for Cecil "The Diesel" to make his debut. I say he breaks one for about 50 yards. Final score:

Miami 35
Arizona 6
