Intel Cuts Pentium III, Celeron Prices

Intel on Monday cut prices of its desktop Pentium III and Celeron processors. The price of the 600-MHz Pentium III dropped to $615 from $669 and the 550-MHz Pentium III dropped to $423 from $487. The Celeron 500-MHz version fell to $153 from $167; 466-MHz dropped to $99 from $114; the 433-MHz processor dropped to $79 from $93; and the 400 MHz was cut to $64 from $73.

You're right...he should have said before DELL goes to $10/share <<

going long on INTC and shorting DELL would be interesting play...INTC has a very strong franchise...whereas DELL has no inherent tech basis..just good marketing.....seems like one could make money on here independent of market fluctuations..
