If THQI has issued a lot of new shares as part of employee stock options, then based on the dilutive effect this has on earnings, coupled with the relatively "cheap" price of the stock (based on PE), a buyback program might assist in terms of raising the price by increasing demand, negating the dilutive effect of issued options, and if the stock price is inevitably going higher regardless, it wouldn't be a bad way for the company to make a better return on their money rather than just letting it sit in the bank.<< Jeff, thanks for your response.
