Bill, first of all thank-you for your compliment. The Point and Figure Chart is available for free and is continually updated for all stocks on real time basis. Try getting it in another way as per following Website : http//barchart.com/ Then enter 'COHU' in white blank space and click on say 'opinion'. After reviewing the opinion, click on 'Custom Chart' to be found on top line. Enter 'COHU' in the white blank space and replace Barchart window by clicking on Point and Figure 8,16. Once you get this chart on your monitor you can verify my calculation as to how this chart gives target price of Cohu as $80. Let me know how you fare. Did you notice today that many Cohu's customers incl. Michron Tech., Texas Inst., Intel, and Semi equip. manufs. incl. Applied Matl.,KLA Tencor, Novellus, others had big upward moves in their prices! I will share another observation. Look at the 'Max. Time Price/Vol. Chart' of Cohu on Yahoo. You will notice that in the immediate periods before and after both the previous stock splits (June 93 and June 95)there was steep increases in Cohu stock price. This is usually attributed to the fact that when the Mgmt. is conservative and if they decide to split the stock, then they must be having high confidence and feelings of the future growth in Rev. & Earnings. Since this message is open to everyone I must add that past performance is no guarantee of future result. Coming back to your earlier comment, I have an inborn deep interest in fundamental and technical analysis of stock which stayed latent since my post graduation in El. Engg. & Marketing. However last year I realized this and seriously started educating myself in this work. I have been learning from and following the teachings of Wall Street Gurus such as : - William O' Neil of Investors Bzness Daily using 'CANSLIM' and Charts (Incidentally, as you may have noticed that Cohu's Price/Volume chart has just broken out of O' Neil's favourite Cup and Handle basing formation - infact Cohu's chart appears to be a text book case of such pattern) -Tom Dorseys Point & Figure Chart Analysis which appears to be quite precise in all my experience so far -Bollinger Bands to establish a stock's Trading Channels -MACD & Stochastics to identify S.T. & L.T. overbought and oversold conditions in a stock -Accumulation/Distribution I have done this for few stocks with good rewards and am in the midst of completing for few more. Good Investing, Victor P.S. - If I can know the address /details of the 2 analysts that follow Cohu I can send them my report of my analysis of Cohu. It will be my privelege if it can be of help/use to them so that they can forward them to their institutional clients which in turn can bring in good upward volume into this stock. Otherwise too ,this stock will start moving up as news of accelerating growth in Revs. & Earnings start coming in. It is just a question of time
