multiple point evolution theory
The microndial DNA evidence points to a single point of origin in Africa.

There has been a recent discovery in asia of a child skeleton with features indicating Cro-Magna and Homo-Sapien mixing. A skeleton from several years ago shows mixed Neandertal and Homo-Sapien mixing. These variations on humanity may not have been so dissimilar from ourselves.

Multiple point evolution is certainly a possibility, imo. Especially if the aliens had multiple landing sites. :-)
