hey, you are preaching to the choir, Bub. -g- I think the ad rate deal is bogus. While I may not be the average user I get very turned off by the time it takes to load the banners and fending off all the cookies. I used to use DejaNews quite a bit, but they changed their format to include a massive amount of ads which take forever and a day to load. Now I never go to it unless I need to, like getting some preliminary technical advise on a subject.
