Wolf,

Thanks. That buyout made my week, and then when LSI made a move to take out its all-time high I thought I was on a roll, but I should know by now that gains in LSI don't come so fast.

PSUN is like old times..........up while the techs are down.

No, no SFA for me anymore either......can't keep them all.

But, take a look at some of these bottom fish.

NUHC (on its way):

ASEC (sitting on ready):

KLIC (just taking off):

UTEK (I think soon):

PTC (a the decision point):

Wolf and Duane,

I added to my PSUN on Friday. I know I know, I am hopeless. BUT! I am also looking at other retail stocks. Can't believe how many are in the doghouse. I think the sector is due for a bounce. Look at the lows! and the holidays are just around the corner....something is not right. Here are some I will be looking at further today: FLH BBY KR RBK MAY BBY CPU TSA TOY RAD Other sectors that look good here are XNG (PPP OEI) XOI (BHI AHC NEV P SLB OIL) DRG (AZN BDY AZA DURA PFE GLX SEPR) NWX (ALA NCDI COMS CS? BAANF?) IIX (yup, that's the internet sector) NDX (yup, the Naz 100) WSX (yup, that's the small cap index) and SOX (what's that? <g>)

The rest of the market looks strange to me. KO is at the neckline of a head and shoulders formation (a double right shoulder)......does KO have 9 lives or something?

I also noticed CD up on decent volume Friday.....so looks like you were right about October.......maybe it's time to look at REITs!

Buying PSUN was a leap of faith......even for me, but how can we be discounting retail just before the holidays? And, I think Alan Greenspan just said (in so many words <g>) that there will be no increase in rates this October/November b/c he doesn't want to add stress to the Y2K season.

BTW, those stocks I gave you along with the industry are just suggested on a first pass basis......I still need to run more charts on them, but I thought I noticed some volume reversal and that made me want to look further! So, feel free to digest or reject them as you wish .....it's of no interest to me unless you see one you like, then kindly let me know! I'm just doing the industry thing this weekend and thought I'd share some of my thoughts.

OK, back to work......

E!

Wolf, Duane, and other phantoms,

Watching PSUN is depressing. I'm taking off for awhile....like you guys. <g>

Wolf, have been watching CD and noticed that it's trading a lot like the Nasdaq for these past few days. I think it will attempt to fill or touch the gap and then we'll be turning this ship around full speed ahead to old and maybe even new highs.

Wolf, the AOL appears to be giving you back a few shekels....the internet stock rationale still eludes me, so of course the internet profits do the same <g>...
American Spirit made a couple of suggestions, and of those, BEBE looks like a prospect -- although I see it as a possible run off a December double bottom, so I won't attempt to make a flying tackle.
Am looking to gradually shift into some more cautious approaches to a continued emphasis on tech and the small caps -- you saw those charts the E! put up on the RUT and WSX, I presume -- doesn't it seem to be "showtime on the Midway" for those? Which, considering the fantastic run we have seen in funds like the VWSMX, VWEGX, VWTKX, FUSMX, etc, is kinda like asking: "But what have you done for me lately?" -- which would put me in the same category with the heirs whom St. E! has so richly blessed to date..... <gg> Don't you get that old feeling that things are looking good ahead here?...
