No, the classic pump and dump was when AOL was at $175 and analysts were all yelling $250 within a few months ;)

You must not be a "AOL Premium content" recipient and good for you. Only AOL members are subjected to the 40% useable screen, the rest of the screen is used for navigation and ads.

I guess I'm one of the unfortunate ones(along with 18+ million others)who are unjustly forced to suffer with AOL's home page. For your information, all four boxes containing content can be minimized thus eliminating all distractions other than the customizable toolbar. Of the four boxes placed on AOL's desktop, only one has any advertising at all. Although I am not pleased with AOL's trading range the last few weeks, I still believe AOL is a long-term winner. They did not get to be almost ten times larger and more profitable than any other ISP by being stupid. IMO, when "our" broadband strategy is accepted by the stock buyers as being a positive and this temporary interest jitters passes AOL will flourish.
