Of course you're right, she's on the wrong system. :o). Unfortunately (or, fortunately?), our town has been very restrictive in letting towers get installed. It's hilly, and I'm told that none of the operators has more than one base station, on the police antennna in the middle of town. Adjoining towns do have them, so most of our town has coverage, but the signal tends to be marginal--and of course CDMA works better than TDMA but, analog still has the best coverage, apparently, believe it or not!.
