I believe CPQ (and the DEC-knowledge) should focus on
the server-farms area. It will be a hot and growing market
with tremendous potential in the next few quarters/years.
A few weeks ago I read that Intel and IBM both planned
to open 5 of these farms is Europe.

In essence, the net makes it possible to put one big server
in the bush in Africa, and the whole world can connect to
it. That is from a technical point of view.

From millions of servers to one big server-park, that is
a step that is way to far. But we will move in that direction.

Compaq-server farms running on Oracle-databases. Make sense
to me.
