Most of the anal-ysts that appear on CNBC are nothing but shameless shills. The only sector that most of them tout lately is techs. It does,nt matter that MSFT is now valued higher than Canada's GDP. Of course, what the heck does Canada have? Well, we have all thost trees & all the oil & gas that the U.S. sorely needs & of course a lot of useless gold. We also have a few tech Cos of our own eg: Nortel that is now eating LU's lunch in building out the net & Bombardier that is selling airplanes & subway cars all over the world. Does'nt matter that Linux is now providing real competition for MSFT. Does'nt matter that if it was'nt for accounting gimmickry MSFT would'nt even report an operating profit. Oh, yeah, the foaming at the mouth maniacs now have the top 4-5 techs on NAZ at a greater value than Britain's GDP. This mania will end badly, very, very badly. James
