DIGITAL RALLY CRY: I AM AN INFOMEDIARY....I WANT DIGITALME >>I agree completely ... andthe most difficult thing many people can't recognize is that "infomediaries" does not necessarily mean "big corporations" or "the companies we look to today." Instead, it is the realization that *anyone* can be come an infomediary, and that people who are not even on the map today will be the powerful new-comers to this market.>> Scott: Beautifully stated!! You are mapping this vision perfectly. The real secret is that EVERYONE now has the power and potential to become an "infomediary." Here is the mission I see for individual infomediaries: 1) Commit to serving others 2) Gather data & information 3) Add value to that data & information 4) Share this value-added with others 5) Find common areas of overlap with individuals 6) Respect the fact that EVERY individual IS a network 7) Each individual CAN add value to any network 8) Articulate, build and expand these networks 9) Share the BIG vision for leveraging these networks 10) After overlapping, draw 1 circle around the 2 circles Note: after you find the area of overlap draw a circle around your network AND the network your are overlapping with. By default the 3rd circle will automatically overlap another circle/network. 11) Continue the process of finding more individuals 12) Explore their networks, share ideas, add value, etc. 13) Find areas of overlap 14) Repeat the process 15) Stay positive and always try to GIVE energy 16) Focus on role of being a catalyst and facilitator 17) Attract talented people to your vision 18) Develop these people into a collection of tribes 19) Unify these tribes around a single vision or purpose 20) Always treat others with respect We are at the threshold of a magical new world which will be populated by new leaders who will create new networks, gather new information, share and value add that information, populate independent datastores for that information while channelling value-added products and services through a vastly new and powerful virtual world which will be articulated and objectified along lines which define relationships, community and trust. DigitalMe is NOT for the Old Business model. DigitalMe is for the New SERVICE model. The companies of the future will look vastly different from the companies of today. Fewer restrictions. Fewer blockages. Fewer politics. More value added. More efficiency. Greater wealth. More time. More trust. This IS the future. And that's why they called it DigitalMe. Peace. GO!!
