don't see how the cpi will be anything less than tame with wholesale prices showing decline. there's not been any increase in military salaries (a goofy component of the cpi), so it must be tame.

maybe traders don't like the fact that Dell is going to have a robust 2nd half of the year (Mr. Dell).

What makes you think benign CPI will drive DELL through 50?? PPI was soft, and the market has traded sideways ever since...there are too many skeptics. DELL is under performing the general market at the moment, so inflation concerns aren't the only enemy. DELL needs a technical breakout based on news, upgrades, comments from within etc. to push the stock price higher on decent volume. Until then it's range trading at best.
