Nokia

1) Better strategically for both companies
a) QCOM needs a buyer who will want and use the MSM
b) Nokia needs a 'good' CDMA ASIC
c) 5 letters - WCDMA
d) To capture an immediate 15% of US CDMA market would be huge for Nokia

2) Motorola does little for us in Europe and TIA
3) Motorola SPS has put to much time into their chip development and Mot can't just scrap it now.
4) Does Nokia and ERICY have influence in Europe and the standards committees? - If Nokia and Ericy back
QCOM's IP, AT&T and British Telecom will have to follow. Period.
5) I don't think Mot has Nokia's vision. Wouldn't mind be wrong though.

Can someone put a leash on that Gorilla, please!!!!!
