So I take it that your answer is that yes, you do also laugh at cartoons ridiculing blind and crippled people, and if people don't appreciate that, they should lighten up and not take it seriously. I think I enjoy a good joke as much as anybody, and I have enjoyed many of yours, which in my experience have been not strongly offensive to any group, which is why I reacted so strongly to this one. But I also think that a little sensitivity toward people with handicaps -- and yes, severe obesity is a serious medical handicap -- are often not very funny.
