tiger "Too many options outstanding"

is it possible that Dell has been issuing too many 'significant' option contracts to its growing employee cadre? notice the pattern of sells relative to open periods in dell employee option calendars. it is true that Dell the company is going back into the market to buyback those converted employee options; but they appear to be doing it only after there's been potential runoffs from the former. a few have been following this pattern and have done well. dell the company, too, has been using options to undergird the open periods as well, so it seems. what think you?

nevertheless, Dell's stock price has continued to rise, despite this action - this speaks well of Dell's strength going forward as we are nearly through another final open period.
